The 250 Greif - Rommel's Command Vehicle

One of my favourite theatres of the second world war was the North African campaign. I have a large collection of DAK troops and British soldiers. I would love to build a British Lee/Grant to help out the allies. This is my scratch built 250 that Rommel used in the desert. It could use a bit of weathering/fading. I stopped painting on the markings and have begun printing them out on paper with my computer and gluing them on. It seems to give me the right faded look and it's simple. I like simple.

I will try and get pics of the interior. At the moment I am working on our club's Halloween project, so it may take some time.

Baby steps...

I am tying to post pics. Netscape crashes. Safari freezes. Explorer gets me farthest but won't give me the proper posting screen. So I down loaded Foxfire - so here goes.

Snafu

There it is! It worked! I am so happy.

This is built entirely from rigid pink insulation. The only things not pink are the axles (wood dowels) and the guns ( 20mm plastic tubes - mg from Cots)
